    Josh Bard suspended one game for turning his head.

    Josh Bard has been suspended one game and fined an undiscloed amount for his actions the other day in the Seattle game after getting tossed for turning his head after a called strike 3.

    unless he tries to appeal it the suspension is in effect for tonight's game.

    I'm aware why he was really suspended, but i'd venture to guess he wouldn't have gotten quite so heated had he not been tossed within less than a second after he was called out on strikes...

    Good for Josh..... he didn't even get to do anything to deserve to get run, and the umpire's should also be reprimanded for their actions....

    Not to defend the umpire, but we don't know how much talking Josh was doing behind the plate before he got run. But, on the flip side, umpires are too quick to run anyone nowadays. You look at them wrong and they'll run you, it's the same with the NBA, NFL or any pro sport. Look at how many Yellow Cards have been brought out during the World Cup.

    Umps don't get to take what you did in the field and hold it against you while batting or visaversa.....it's an unspoken rule.....like so many that baseball players have
