    I agree... just interesting to ponder........I can't understand why the A's would allow him to walk, if they can make a move to get something for him....replacing Zito probably wont happen, he's kinda good ya know....but getting a young arm, and maybe another prospect for him could be better than letting him walk..... the only "unless" is if you have a crystal ball and know that the A's will finally break through and win the WS this year under this moneyball cloak......

    I'm sure we'll know soon ....since the deadline is on approach

    Zito has been having fun dropping hints about his impending free-agent status all year. He later added that Petco Field is "a great park to pitch in.I'm sure I'll pitch here again sometime soon."
