Vinny's not worth anymore now than Bellhorn was on his mini-hot streak.

GM's understand that anyone can get on a hot streak here and there.

Trade value that wasn't there before doesn't appear unless someone keeps it up for at least a month or two.

They traded Young........they traded Gonzalez.......the took Nevin.......yeah it's possible.....clearly that GM is just tossing darts at a board out there

They got Eaton (who wasn't injured yet) and Aki for Young and an unproven Gonzalez.

I still thought it was stupid on their part at the time of the trade, but they still felt as though they were getting talent in return...and I did as well, just thought we had the much better deal.

They took Nevin....and gave us Chan Ho Park, who wasn't exactly lighting it up at the time.

There is no way in hell they give up a young power hitter in Hank Blalock for a 39 year old Vinny in desperate hopes that he'll succeed just because Arlington has a bandbox....even with Kotteras thrown in.

Furthermore, i'm not so certain I'd like it anyways. IIRC Blalock's home/away splits really aren't that pretty.

I did add Leone also.......two 3 bags, and a top prospect catcher....but we have others.....use Bellhorn instead....and you know that Bellhorn in Arlington is good for 20 bombs easy
