Is this stink coming from the Tiajuana river or from the Padres ? It's one thing to lose a game, it's quite another to not show up for a pitcher that gives you everything he's got and leaves it all on the field of battle.... yes "shit happens", but when it happens more than once you have to start wondering, and when it happens over and over and over........something needs to be done........Bochy needs to get off his fat ass and light fire under these guys when Peavy takes the hill........this laid back approach is tired, and proven to fail, and once again we can only wonder how we're only 2.5 games back instead of 6.5 with the way we're playing on all sides of the ball....

Just a small rant for the day....since I'm getting sick of watching us regress into a crappy ass ballclub.....

No question........thank god we had a 9 game streak........but this team better not count on those to happen every 5 weeks to save them from being inconsistant.......especially since CO clearly isn't going away anytime soon, and now the Dodgers are hot, and AZ is still playing consistantly....we better find our rythm soooooon

And they don't have to have 9 game winning streaks, as long as they have plenty of occasions where they, say, win 6 of 8, 7 of 9, etc etc etc.

Of course, long winning streaks here and there would be welcome as well

Further proof that Bochy loves going with the old veterans too much.........Bard is killing it still, plays a much better catcher, and hustles all the time........ start Bard and play him until he shows he can't.....which hopefully wont happen
