Going to the bottom of the 9th, Trevor Time.

They're not playing Hells Bells at Wrigley, oh well.

1-2-3 inning for Hoffman ... Padres win yet again! What a streak these guys are on. Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge comeback win today in a game where Maddux was at his best. Fantastic.

    Cla Meredith with the win!

it's hard to question Bochy these days, but I wish he wouldn't bench Roberts just because of the hand the pitcher pitches with, with how he's been doing as of late and all

I agree.....let him prove once and for all he can't hit lefties.....until then let him play......Boch has said he's going to be pulling him less and less depending on the quality of lefty.......so I guess it's baby steps

even i'm going to have to eat crow. I thought they'd fare better than you were saying they would, but even I didn't think they'd do half as good as they've been doing thus far.

Hey I said I'd be happy to be wrong about them......and so far I have been and I am.......I would love to get to the end of the year and have been totally wrong about some of these old guys.....

Only thing is the old guys are dropping like flies.......Estes gone for at least one more month, Woody out past the allstar break.....etc....

    Padres

Chan Ho has pitched as well as I've seen him since he was a Dodger. Clay Hensley has really helped the Padres coming out of the bullpen and into the starting rotation without missing a beat. Jake Peavy looks like he's finally become his vintage self and now we've got a newbie coming up from AAA to take Woody's spot in the rotation....stay tuned.
