It is possible Mike Cameron will make his Padres debut in center field against his former team. Cameron played for Class A Lake Elsinore Thursday night, getting a double and a walk in three at-bats, and he thinks he might be ready to test his left oblique -- injured March 31 in Las Vegas -- against Brian Bannister, the Mets' young right-hander.
