    Schmidt is a FA next year and so far SF is doing nothing about it..........so we'll take him instead......... Peavy, Schmidt, Young.....woo hooo

    Schmidt would want to come here as well, that way he doesn't have to face the Padres every year and get his ass beat

    I think if Schmidt shows he's still got it, he would be a HUGE acquisition, but as Padrefan says, why wait, why not try to get him before the deadline?

    So now that the date is closer, who here is going to the game? I might/not make it becasue I have to sign some papers at the Y, that day. Hopefully I will be able to go.
