If it was a bad trade then reject it! I needed to move him, the market is saturated with 1B. Only one that expressed any interest was anahiem after I had delt him. I needed a closer badly and if he pans out then it looks good. I had 0 cash and very little FA money so when arby hits this season I'll have nothing to give him and my other 1B. So yes I gave him cheap, but no one else wanted him. Supply and demand. You think he's an absolute god but none of you wanted him.
I got what I wanted out of the deal. If it's cheap so be it, if it wasn't "fair" then why did it pass? Either way I'm happy with the deal I made.
