i didnt want this shit to go through when cabello died after me and zito agreed to the trade while he was still on zitos team... gah ! he was 7/8/8/7/7 when i agreed to the trade... i dont want no 5/8/8/7/5 outfielder for montero and eaves, that does nothing for me.

It's pretty rough, but the trade was in before the talent decrease so I don't know what to do. I was waiting to hear from you guys to see if you were going to rework the deal and then send in a new one, but I assumed everything was fine since there was silence from you.

i did send a pm of changes that said just cancel the trade at the very top of it... i tried to rework with zito, but with cabello down he didnt want to part with burpee, so the trade was dead when cabello died.

I don't understand how the trade can be official if Cabello's talent died yet as of the last sim Cabello is still with Pittsburgh.

TC perhaps does not like the yankees.

We don't have a real precedent in this league for this. The opposite happened in TSSL, where I was re-compensating OM on the Roberts trade I made with the CPU. I sent Eddy Martinez-Esteve over in an agreed compensation. Between sims, before the trade was made official but after it was sent in, Martinez's talent jumped to where he was now an exceptional prospect. The TC voted 4-3 (I believe) for passing the trade with the talent boost, although it was personally against my wishes. I think they made the right decision...

FWIW though, I didn't vote on this trade, and I would have voted pass before the drop and fail after.

I didn't vote either, but my guess is that the TC saw the ratings listed in what I posted (as the deal was agreed and sent in before the drop) and since we already failed once, they assumed Cabello was the same as before.

Nonetheless, Pittsburgh has voided this deal and I will reverse it.

Something like this might harm another league. Not us.
