I basically righted a wrong with this trade... I shouldn't have dealt McCullough for Cuevas, and while Davila is not mike McC... he is the closest this team has seen since his departure. My young offense of Todd, Fortuna, Marceau, Johnson, and Santamaria is more than adequate without Cuevas' bat.

He had a fantastic year, and made my offense deadly... what good is an offense without pitching though?

I'm betting you'd never do this deal if Cuevas was Mikey McC, bjd.

Of course not... the idea was to get a pitcher. And I got a pretty damn good, young one.

Davila is just a hard throwing version of Robert Guido, who is far from pretty damn good.

I should thank Detroit for taking an MVP candidate out of the division. Now if only Chicago deals Moreno to Texas or something. Hmm.

I tried to get him to Minnesota but there wasnt anything dah Cubs liked enough that I would be nuts to trade.
