Send offers for Andre The Giant Agosto

There is no point in holding out any longer. With Washington on a ten game streak and Florida being the proverbial Goliath...

Here is a very good SP who will help take someone to the promised land. I cannot believe that no one has even attempted to discuss acquiring him.

    Troia is discussible as well.

Minnesota bites. Anything you see in Minnesota's farm that could get either Andre or Troia?

Does Agosto have leprosy or something? He is worth more than a couple of 2.5-3.5 specs... I am not asking for what Porter gave up for Seth, but I think someone could use him. He is only owed about 21 mil over the remainder of his contract. I will talk cash or take on a salary dump if it gets me a little more value in return. This continues to boggle my mind...

For the record, the TC twice vetoed a trade where Philly received a 4.0 MR spec, 2 3.5 SP specs, and 2 3.0 specs (1SP/1MR) for Agosto. For those of you who engaged in trade discussion with me and decided to keep your mid-level specs and better...

I don't really have a problem with what the TC did, but we have to somehow get on the same page here. The multiple threads in the Tradeblock and the shameless marketing that occurred...

Let's get ready for the offseason, hopefully a contender can use him.

So did they veto the deals because you didn't receive enough for Agosto or the other teams gave up too much?

The former. Although enough may not be the right word. I'm not willing to go a whole lot deeper.

Yes. The TC felt that Agosto was worth more QUALITY value. I received somewhat quantity value, but could not find a single GM willing to give what was fair... i.e. a solid 4.0-5/0 SP/position spec.

Keeping Agosto is not the end of the world, maybe Philly will catch fire.
