    Agosto-SP, 10-7-7

I must confess, I am very surprised at the lack of interest. I will try a specific thread to see if there is someone out there that just missed seeing that he is AVAILABLE.

In the other leagues a 4.0 Ace SP doesn't stick around for long on the trade block. This guy is overpaid and 32 years old, but he will be a solid contributor for 2 and 1/2 years AT LEAST!

Does anybody need a pitching upgrade?

A young 3.0-3.5 Outfielder would be nicest. I was very stongly considering trading him for Cuevas or Matsusuke...

    A young outfielder plus ...

I can't jsut give him away. I know he makes 15 million, but while it is high, it is not a contract that will bankrupt a team. For a guy who is proven and signed for this year and next. He is worth every penny to a contender that is pushing for the playoffs. With the lack of successful pitchers out there, I need to be very close to a Cuevas or Matsusuke or I'll start the season with Hofer in RF and Agosto in the rotation.

We're just not strongly considering trading them for Agosto.

    Thanks for your 2 cents.

Everyone can see that you listed Matsusuke in the Philly's trade block thread. I can respect someone who decides that a certain trade is not for them, but a smart-ass... well that's another story. I've set the price. I'll live with Agosto if necessary.

And I told you before that I'm not dealing Matsusuke for Agosto. The public has a right to know that you may be looking to move Agosto for someone like that, but I'm not.

This has never been in dispute. You listed him. I waited for the FA's to sign. I offered. You declined. All was well... I thought, until you chose to make a sarcastic comment in my thread that to me undermines the purpose of my thread. I wish I had never used Matsusake's name AS A PLAYER WHO REPRESENTS THE PRICE of Agosto. In an effort to put this meaningless drivel behind me. I apologize for using the name of your player to represent the value that I desire for Agosto.

Mission: Will you please delete this thread and I will start all over again for those who may want to engage in trade discussion. Thanks.
