    2.5 star 1b frances boudreaux...

    ill trade him straight for a similarly rated/aged shortstop. descrepencies in contracts dont matter to me, but dont misread that into thinking ill take on a 3x10 contract that i myself didnt put the signature on. if you need some cap flexability though... that i have no problems helping you out with.

    my SS's are weak so I couldn't really help you there, unless you actually wanted olmedo and morales..

    im only worried about this season with a need like this. if olmedo dies on me the first day after the world series, i wont care... though i suppose it could be argued that he already is dead. what i need out of him, he does. hes solid defensively at shortstop, and he'll put the ball in play. hes gonna start once a week, so thats all i need.

    besides, lera's short term need was cut short with romeo fritsch being... somewhat close to his talent. so he was expendable.

    ronald cannon, thomas pierce, john spinner, alex bengoa are all guys i have interest in that i think would be in the neighborhood of a fair ransom for one such as boudreaux. hernandes, soto and barranco in the big leagues, though not sure how tradeable they are. you have some pieces to get a trade done, sure.
