Thread: Philly Trade Pieces

    Philly Trade Pieces

Most notably is Hank Blalock. With Galeana and Guzman on the team, I don't need to keep Blalock and I would let him go into FA. It would be nice to get something back for him, and he will go at a discounted price for your typical 3.5 2B/3B. Kills righties, bench-worthy v. lefties. Has been for a decade.

Laroche and Bay are really the only other two, and they would be moved for roster flex purposes. Their contracts expire this year, so I'm guessing only a competitive team might want to take them on.

Looking for: Prospects, younger (expectantly worse) replacement position players (not necessary), a real catcher. Take a look

    Update:

Adding Robert Amis to the list, if only because the game won't let me pitch him for an asinine reason. A 3.0 RP on a reasonable deal for the next couple years who is young enough to grant an extension when the deal ends. Would like a prospect in the 3.0 realm, just to add to the stockpile in return.

    The other guys also apply.

I'd do a Bay for Rene Rivera swap if interested... both are expiring contracts. I need help in the OF, you need a C... Rivera is struggling, but still has good ratings.

Totally up to you, he is rotting on my bench anyway.

I'd prefer not to get older, but Bay could help me short term, and I'm not getting many offers for Rivera.

Bay is out, Laroche will go out for a discounted price now.

Basically, last call before the deadline. Don't expect much interest.
