    S-Class Free Agents

I created a special player for each position plus three who are starting pitchers. They are all 28 and should all have the nickname of S-Class (I may have forgot one or the other on a player or two, if I did, I'll fix it.) To be able to offer to these specially created players, there will be an activity component. As these are special players, you will still be able to offer to the normal free agents that would be there whether or not you participate in this activity option for the S-Class. This will allow me to take my break while you work on this and then we'll begin free agency.

Keep in mind that just because you do this, that doesn't mean that all the players will like you. I hope that since there are over 10 players, every team will have at least a few who dig them, but I can't guarantee it nor can I check on specific players beforehand for teams. But you have three options of activity to choose if you want in on this.

a.) Write an article that is of a high enough content quality level with appropriate grammar, spelling and punctuation.
    http://www.strike3forums.com/forums/...ginal-article/

b.) Create 10 threads in the team forums that are in your own words and have some effort behind them (like a good paragraph that could start some discussion.)
(Forums allowed are ANY of the team forums, Major League Baseball, Hot off the Wire, or Fantasy Baseball.)

c.) Post 25 replies to discussion or news threads in the forums mentioned above (ie, non game thread or posting game type of threads.)

d.) Recruit 5 members. Have them post on my profile here by just saying that they were recruited by you. (Please don't cheat at this, I'll find out.)

If you do option A-B-C, post here with your team name and the info I'll need to see (link to the article, link to the threads, etc.) If you do it, you're good to offer to those players when free agency begins.

As we don't need any GM's, once this is over and assuming my schedule is alright... we'll start FA.

You have until April 6th 2007 at 10 PM EDT to do A, B or C.

Oh and FYI, the draft will likely be as-is. (I will generally either boost that or the FA class, but not both in the same year.)

So, I would have to do B or C since I'm already doing A?

You can just write another article, I am not going to go all nazi with this. Whatever you feel most comfortable doing, go for it.

Yeah, do something new for this since you already planned out the other portion. Since the league will not be doing much, I am hoping to get everyone posting or creating a bit more to talk about so we can get a nice jump start after the downtime.

Since recruiting new members is the most difficult, do we get credit for members we've recruited in the past?

If they were just OOTP junkies, my guess is no.

I would agree with mofo, unless they're actually contributing outside of s3sl, tssl, tpsl, and strikes back incarnates.. doubtful.

    Re: S-Class Free Agents

Past stuff can't count guys. I know recruiting is the toughest, but I think all three are fairly comparable in difficulty... depending on your skills and what you are comfortable with. It just makes it hard to draw the line as if I allow that, some could make a valid case that they have written articles that took considerable time and brought significant discussion that should count as well.

Everyone, myself included, who wants to offer needs to post their activity that they completed after the time I created this thread to be able to offer to the S-Class.
