I am sorry to all the bidders, especially Detroit, I just want to make this fair for you all.
Have a vote. I'd be shocked if I'm the winner.

Not bad enough to sign for 3 years though.

San Diego: Free agent P Ben Crockett has been signed to a contract of $7,200,000 per year, for 3 years.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I offered 7.5 mil and dropped that 3rd year cause he said he didnt want that long of one.

I had something similar happen, but it didn't override the other contracts and sign, it just completely discounted them. Mine didn't happen on the last FA round, thankfully, so I just put him back in the FA pool for those who wanted him.

I like the idea of a vote.
He received the offer he signed for a few days ago even though Detroit had made better offers both round 3 and 4.

The other two offers I mentioned (there might of been another legit offer) were all ones entered into the game.

This is pretty damn weird though, I've never seen something like that happen.

Well I will have a vote, surprisngly I am not catering the league to fit your needs. I apologized for what happened but this is a glitchy game. I would love for you to win because it's likely if you dont get him, the Mets will. But alas, I have to make sure I run a fair game and if the game doesnt do the job, then I will have to step in.

I would recommend that if a vote occurs, you not let me, GoYankees, and whoever else bidded on him vote in it, obviously, since our intentions are obviously not skewed towards what is fair.

Yeah... you shouldn't have a vote if you have a horse in the race.

I agree McKain, it would be a public poll if it happens. Also, I would want division rivals who vote for the deal that their rival did not have to justify it. I know some may be tempted to vote for the worse offer to keep the compeition from getting stronger. We need to be unbiased and make sure it's fair.

I'll try hard not to *****, but if you're going to change renteria's contract, then you have to look at my offer to Gerut.

I say just leave as is, or you're opening a can of worms.

That's why I say leave it. The computer made the decision, not you.

But as a FA signing, just chalk it up to him taking less to play where he wanted to play. Maybe his gramma lives in detroit. Maybe he's a big eminem fan?

Detroit made a larger offer, and he took their lesser offer. How does that make sense? His Grandma probably could use that extra money. lol

It sounds like all of the offers made in the last two rounds just didn't take for some reason.
