    Quick question... I know there's sort of an unspoken rule that extensions stop at the beginning of the playoffs, but if I get it in right after the sim tomorrow, can I give extending Mike Williams one last chance?

    The reason I ask is I'm holding out hope that in this last sim of the year I'll earn just enough money to get the job done and sign him up.

    Extensions go til the start of the World Series, sometimes even beyond that if the WS takes a bit to go through. You'll be fine time wise.
