    S3SL 2018 Free Agency: Round 1 (10/5 at 1 PM EST to 10/7 at 10 PM EST)

DO NOT SEND IN OFFERS UNTIL THE CORRECT TIME

Same format as last year. This period will be 5 days in the game. Keep PM's to a max of two. Players may not like your team for whatever reason. And if you message me with enough time ahead of the deadline, I will reply back that they did not even take your offer into consideration, that way you can offer to someone else. I can not withdraw offers on the same day (round) they were made. Nor can you increase an offer made during the same round, in other words you can only make one offer to a player during each round. And if you have more offers than cash, well, that's your fault.

All offers are entered and the bidding is blind. The player chooses his team essentially. Players sometimes will not listen to an offer for no other reason than the game is set to not let teams overload via FA and sign all the top talent there. It's pretty much random from what I heard but it doesn't have to do with your record or anything like that. This is why it's best to get your offers in early in case a certain player or two will not listen to your team's offers.

With a normal FA class, there are no limitations like usual.

    Format is as follows:
Florida Marlins offer 2B Scott Hairston 2 years at 8 mil per
Florida Marlins offer 3B Joe Crede 5 years at 5 mil per
Team offers Position Player x amount of years for x amount of cash per year

If anyone has any questions, post here and I am sure someone will help you out. And good luck.

Also, I forgot to release two players for Porter (he missed arbitration releases due to a family crisis so I allowed him to late release two players), who were MR Chuck Tiffany and 2B Chris Daly (so you can offer to those two.)

I am not for sure if I will be here on Saturday night at that time, but it will be uploaded sometime after that.

And there is a PM going out to the whole league about the first round.

No worries. I just assumed by linking to the thread with the info that people will read that first. Not a big deal at all.

I have 65 MIL to spend... yeah... like that is gonna happen.....

This season I am just trying to piecemeal a team together that won't be totally embarrassing.... my fan interest is low, and I will not be drawing the attendence that I was before

    Time to build a bullpen.

And accidentally offer money to Ed Hart.

time to offer to no one. I just don't like this class of veterans.

I still have time, but either I drop a lot of money to older guys who have produced and could provide 1 magical season, or I just chill and trot out the shit I have...

Time to decide what I want to do with my FA money. Hopefully I dont get outbid on everyone but that would be par for the course.
