Friday: The Auction

This is a Friday auction for a one-time prize item. It is a MYSTERY item, but I guarantee it isn't something like "12 S3F Cash" or something bad. Trust me, it's useful. I'll give a few facts on the item

A. It will not be available again in the game. This is a one time item that can really shake up a game depending on how it is used.

B. The item, unlike most in this game, is TRANSFERABLE. If you find that you will not need this item when it comes into play, you can trade it for S3F Cash or other possessions of the other person. Only in-game items are legal to be transferred, so no actual money or goods or anything outside the Vegas Universe. As of this point, there is no other item in this game that is transferable, although I am considering offering a few more items that will do so.

C. This item will become non-transferable on September 15th, and its effect is shown on the last day of the season.

D. I will not announce what this item is except to the winner, he will have the right to tell anyone he likes.

E. Here's an insider hint, since I don't want Hammer spending 10k on it. If you have a lot of money, you probably won't need the item. If you have no money, you probably won't need the item unless you go on a surge. The people who would need it are right in the middle of the pack.

F. You may not pool money. This would make this too complicated and only one of these items is offered, plus, the potential backstabbing of that is for Survivor, not Vegas. Bids by proxy (if you can't be on but another person can) are allowed, but require confirmation after the fact by the original user

G. Bidding Will Begin at 50 S3F Cash. You may either post a bid (minimum 25 S3F cash increments) or you can PM a bid (no PMing a max bid). However, PMing is no guarantee I will post it (anonymously) for a while and you may be outbid by then. I'm not on here 24 hours a day. If a bid comes in in the last five minutes, and any subsequent bids, there will be one final private bid due within 24 hours. For instance

User 1: 700 (11:53)
User 2: 800 (11:56)
User 3: 1000 (11:59)

In that case, I would allow Users 1, 2, and 3 to submit to me one final bid by PM of at least 1000 S3F Cash, high bid gets it.

then why the option of anonymous as fisher said? Some auctions are blind...not all auctions occur in this manner.

You can either post, get an immediate bid up, and not have to depend on me to come in every second. Or you can PM, get the anonymity of who is bidding, but have to wait for me to get here

You can make as many bids as you want and it ends at midnight. Any bids in the last five minutes though will get an opportunity for one final bid after the auction ends, in private
