New York Mets @ St. Louis Cardinals

The Opening Day game on ESPN pits the World Series Champions, the St. Louis Cardinals, against the New York Mets, their vanquished foe in the NLCS last year in St. Louis

On the hill for the Cardinals is Trinity High School (NH) Grad, Chris Carpenter, 2005 Cy Young Award Winner and 3rd last year.

Facing him is Tom Glavine, who has one of the most distinguished but underrated careers in baseball today.

I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Haha, I was the only one to bet on the Mets winning.
Unfortunately, on top of winning 50 I also lost 125.
Meh, oh well. At least I was the only one with the winning team.
Integrity can accommodate the inadvertent error and the honest difference of opinion; it cannot accommodate deceit or subordination of principle.
