    Definitely the stranger....the human life has more value than an animal's life.

    Now there are definitely exceptions......you have a serial killer and a pet drowning, I would definitely save the pet.

    Honestly... it still dumbfounds me how anyone can choose a freaking animal over saving a HUMAN LIFE... it is simply warped... the animal rights nazi propaganda seems to be getting to more and more people

    Hell... push the animal under and use it as a floatation device to assist bringing the stranger back to shore...

    I'd save my pet first and if I have time/energy, maybe go back and get the stranger. But in general, I hate people, so why would I go to save one? I'd rather have another 5 years with my dog who loves me conditionally, regardless of what kind of an asshole I am.




    Then again, if the stranger looks like Shania Twain, I might go for the stranger.
