    Pirates Who is rumored?

    Mark Redman to the Marlins?

The Marlins have shown interest in Redman and could look to go that way if they are to deal Burnett. But the Pirates would want young outfielders in the trade and I am not sure what the Marlins would have to give. What do you guys think?

Matt Lawton to the Cards or Red Sox?

The Cards have been in talks to want to get Lawton with the absence of Sanders and the oft injured Walker. Lawton would be a good fit for a corner outfield position. Also, just reported on ESPN News the Red Sox may have interest in Lawton as well. I think this is only in case Ramirez gets moved though. What do you guys think?

Getting rid of either of them would be smart if they can get some nice prospects.

I agree, this team is in another rebuilding stage and great prospects are in order. Tomorrow will tell us how well they do.

I doubt we're going to get any useful prospects.

I've heard a Yorman Bazardo for Redman deal, which I will love, but I doubt it'll happen.

If Littlefield drops the ball and keeps any of these guys, I will be angry.

    Lawton is gone to Chicago.

No word on what we got back yet, but the word is Jody Gerut was being mentioned. Aye.

Jody Gerut is your man. He has been good this year, but I think that once he's 100 % healthy and has a chance to play daily, he will be useful to the Pirates.
At least this is better than Hill for Ramirez trade.

The Lawton deal was good. Gerut is younger, cheaper, better defensively and once he's back in gear at the plate- he'll be better offensively.

No, Jody Gerut isn't our man.

He's not any better than Michael Restovich, and I'm sure that we could've got more. If Littlefield wouldn't be on the Cubs payroll, these shitty trades wouldn't have happened.

    Bobby Hill for Aramis? Check.
    Gerut for Lawton? Round 2.

Lawton isn't close to Aramis. He's barelyan average outfielder. Gerut will be better, easily.
