3rd win in a row, up to 11-16. Not bad at all.

    Tied with the Astros...

Dave pitched well, Gonzalez came back strong and the homers for Jack and Bay are nice to see.

Good to see Castillo playing again too. Now, getting Wigginton out of the lineup...

I am so proud of Lloyd McClendon.

After all the crap he has been getting from fans, it's good to see his team rally around him.

3 of 4 from Arizona this weekend, up to 13-17...way ahead of expectations.

That 16 run performance yesterday from the O and Josh Fogg winning on Saturday kicked me in the face, that's for sure.

Got a 3 game at SF coming up this week, before coming back home for Milwaukee this weekend.

Tough loss to the Giants last night 2-1. The offense completely disappeared against Bret freaking Tomko. Redman had the only RBI, and pitched a complete game(8 IP) with 2 earned.

Where'd the offense from the weekend go?

    Big win tonight.

Depsite getting one hit through 5 by Jeff Fassero, Jason Bay and the bats came through.

3 run homer for Bay and solo shots for Cota and Castillo won it for us.

Bullpen looked good again, and Dave got his 3rd win.

Mesa picked up his 12th save, and Gonzalez his 5th hold.

2 out of 3 from the Brewers puts us a game out of 2nd place and a game ahead of the Chicago Cubs in the race for 3rd.

    17-19...could be much worse...

Prior v. Fogg tonight, not a good matchup. But shit, Fogg has been solid all season...

And Prior's 2004 stats against the Pirates weren't that good.

Try having Latroy Hawkins as the closer.

    Aye.

    Latroy Hawkins or Ryan Dempster?

    Yikes.

I am actually not too disgusted at the idea of Dempster being the closer. He can't be worse than Hawkins. Can he?
