lidle absent on personal reasons

Cory Lidle has left the Phillies and is out indefinitely for personal reasons.
''I think he's dealing with some issues. It's tough when you're distracted,'' said pitching coach Rich Dubee. ''Cory's had this going on for a while now. I think it's more than he's been dealing with other issues.'' The Phillies lost reliever Tim Worrell for almost two months with personal issues, and then traded him yesterday. They are hoping Lidle is back on Monday to make his start, but we'll have to see. Jul. 22 - 11:12 am

As long as Lidle comes back soon, I have no huge issues with this. He needs to do whatever to clear his head and keep him pitching like he has this season. Err... on second thought, I would be happy to see just the Lidle of April and May. Hopefully with his time off, he'll lose the demons causing him to pitch like arse.
