I am sure Shadow went ****ing nuts last night!! Were there riots in the streets of Philly last night?? Didn't get to see the news or anything. Me drunkie and highie last night

Nah it wasnt too bad, but there alot of broken bottles, trees pulled up and the such. CBS truck got pretty f'd up even before I go there. A few cars were flipped around the city. Honestly though, because of the circumstances, the city wasnt nearly drunk enough for big things to happen.

But there were alot of people on broad street it was awesome. I had work til 9 (13 hours... BLAH), so I was only 3 beers deep myself by the time I got there. Alot of cheering and alot of fun.

Unfortunately I gots work on Friday, but my boss said I could go to the parade for 2 hours. Better than nothing I guess.

Ahh the parade was nice, got two hours off from work to see it. So crouded, I hadda stand on a newspaper box to see. They moved a little too fast though, didnt get enough time to cheer.

Honestly I would love it if the Cubs won 55-60 games every year until I died, if just once I could see them win a championship.

You are an insightful young gentleman. I would gladly take this scenario with the Indians.

But like Phillies fans, the only recent world series memories we as Indians fans have are horrible ones. Similar to the '93, the Indians have '95 and '97, as well as regular season collapses and last years Red Sox choke-a-thon.

I'd give it all away for just one World Series championship.

Wow...Zito and DK, you guys blew the reverse jinx. You were not committed to the reverse jinx...the reverse jinx works when you commit yourself so deeply you believe it's actually not going to work. Like with the Rays and Sox - I was completely convinced the Sox were going to win. And the reverse jinx worked. You two were posting in mocking fashion.

I expected better things out of the two of you.
