Also, Harden is throwing a simulated game this Monday...he did not throw one on Labor Day as that writer said. He is still on target though.

Kotsay was sent back to Oakland for treatment on his back...won't play until Friday.

Frank Thomas was named player of the week. The five-time All-Star hit .462 (12-for-26) for the week ending Sept. 10, with five homers, 13 RBIs and 27 total bases. In addition, the designated hitter held a 1.038 slugging percentage.

it appears that Crosbert may be done for the year...not that he's helped us offensively, but he's better than Scutaro at SS anyway...

Harden will be activated and start on Thursday against the Indians depending on how his side session Monday goes.
