Sauerbeck was put on the DL and Flores was called up...assuming the Komine call up is official, someone needs to be sent down...or traded.

I don't give a chiat how nice of a guy Shields is hitting Payton was BS especially from a guy with excellent control. The fact that Jay homered in the first two games and first base was open has EVERYTHING to with it IMO.

This was after Payton apologized and Shields said he didn't mean it..."Last time we played here, he was showing off like he's the toughest guy on the field," Kelvim Escobar said of Payton. "I wasn't surprised at all with what he did today."

The A's haven't announced it yet, but Crosby is going to DL and Payton won't be. They think Rouse will be called up, but no official announcement yet.
OK, Corsby is on the DL retroactive to 7/31, IF D'Angelo Jimenez was called up. To make room on the roster Randy Keisler was DFA.
