The Cougars won 16 - 3 on Friday night. They scored 8 runs in the 5th inning. They hit 4 homers (Baisley hit 2) and collected 19 hits...they also made 4 errors, which led to 2 unearned runs.

They lost 4 - 1 on Saturday. Baisley hit another homer.

The Cougars won 10 - 3 on Tuesday and 7 - 5 last night for their 3rd win in a row. They had 4 steals in the game on Tuesday.

The Cougars have now won 5 in a row. The won the last two games 5 - 4. In the second game they scored 2 in the 8th and 2 in the 9th to cap the comeback. Baisley hit his 4th homer of the season.

The Cougars lost the last 2 games 7 - 2 and 2 - 1. Nothing much of note...some shaky defense in the 7 - 2 loss led to 3 unearned runs.

The Cougars lost 2 more in a row 7 - 4 and 3 - 2 before winning 4 - 3. Blasi hit his 3rd triple of the season in the first loss. The 2nd game went 12 innings and 2 of the runs were unearned. Baisley hit his 5th homer of the season in the 3rd game. It was a 3 run shot in the top of the 9th to give the Cougars the lead for good.

The Cougars lost 2 out of the last 3 games. They won 4 - 3 and then lost 8 - 4 and 5 - 2.

They also had to play a doubleheader today and again tomorrow because of rain outs...the won 1 of the games 5 - 2 today and they are currently winning the 2nd game 1 - 0 in the 6th (doubleheader games are only 7 innings in the minors).

Carney Lansford's son was called up from extended spring training and pitched 5 shutout innings in the 2nd game and is in line to get the win.
