I guess Macha is throwing this one away as he brings in mopup superhero Yabuchi to face Manny with the bases loaded and 1 out...grand slam anyone?

I almost care that Manny somewhat leaned into that one, but with Jason Kendall on the other team and my lack of a feeling for morality and fairness in baseball, I don't care.

Still, one of the worst ways to lose a ballgame, but I seriously do not get the decision to walk Ortiz. The advantage is that you can force out a run at home, but then you cannot pitch safely to Ortiz. Throw him four outside balls if you want, but don't IBB.

A walk is a walk.

At least with the unintentional intentional walk, Ortiz may swing at something low and away and ground into a DP.

Macha was playing the matchups I guess...righty vs. righty instead of righty vs. lefty

1 - 0 Red Sux after 1...could have been much worse as they had bases loaded with 1 out and Haren strikes out the next two chumps (Tek and Millar). He struck out Damon to start the inning.

1 - 0 going into the bottom of the 3rd.

1 - 1 after 5.

2 - 1 Sux as Money Ramirez homers
