It depends on what the Angels do, too. If the A's win and the Angels lose, then they're still in first and the Yanks and Angels will still be tied. If the Yankees win and both the A's and Angels lose, then the Yanks will be leading the Wild Card, but the A's and Angels will still be leading the West. I'd rather have the West if I had a choice.

of course you'd rather win the division( we can still do that too) but it would be nice to have the WC as a safety net and this series is very important towards deciding that.
