Some good news for A's fans for a change. I know its not the nest of news but hopefully Anderson can avoid the operating table this year and years down the road.Dr. James Andrews advised Brett Anderson (elbow) to rehab for six weeks.
In other words, he will not need Tommy John surgery, as some feared. It sounds like the Athletics have dodged a serious bullet here, though we won't know much more about his status for the short-term until he gets reevaluated in three weeks.

Absolutely and I was at the game yesterday. He's raw but the talent is there and I love the speed and attitude.
