Funny how times change. When St Pete (Tampa Bay) was lobbying, team officials were told they HAD to have a venue in place before being in contention for a team. Considering it took 10 years to be awarded one AFTER building a stadium, this doesn’t sound like a good idea especialy since the Bud regime didn't like the idea 20 years ago when the directive came from Vincent.
