    A's White Sox @ A's; 3-game set

Ok so unfortunately this one won't be a full series preview either. I'm a little preoccupied (I'm at the airport right now, woot woot).

So right now we're trailing the Sox 3-2 in the top of the seventh. Jack Cust homered with Thomas on base to close the gap. Braden was real shaky the first inning, but has settled down nicely. He's at 89 pitches, so he'll prolly not go back out for another inning. I could be wrong though. We'll have to wait and see what Geren decides to do.

Well the Sox added on another run, courtesy of Carlos Quentin's 33rd homer. But Ellie just homered, so it's back to a one-run lead for the Sox. 4-3 in the eighth.

TIE GAME! Jack Cust homers again to tie it at four apiece. WOOT WOOT!

Oh God Street is pitching for us. Have mercy.

Woah Street just picked off Alexei Ramirez for out number two. That's a first.

Woohoo Uribe strikes out to end the inning. Onto the bottom of the ninth. Hannahan is leading off for us against ex-Athletic Octavio Dotel.

That's it for me folks. Time to board the plane. Catch ya later.

Hahaha hell yeah. I'm back home now (and dead tired).

BUT WE WON! OMFG Kurt Suzuki hit a two-run walk-off homer to win the game! There was one out with Pennington at third (was it Pennington? Or was it Patterson? I don't remember anymore). He hit a long fly ball that was going to win the game (sac fly), but it kept on going and it turned into a homer. BUT WE WON! I'll be at today's game (despite my extreme fatigue). Should be a good one, especially if we can carry the momentum over into today's game.

Well today's game was depressing. We had the bases loaded in two different innings, with no outs both times, and never got a run home. Smith labored through five innings, throwing exactly 100 pitches. Hopefully Gonzalez can pitch well tomorrow so that we can finally win a series!

Ack it's gametime. I guess I got the time mixed up again. Time to head out to the game. Hopefully Gonzalez can get a win today!

Final score: 13-1 them. I don't think much else needs to be said. Except for the fact that we've 23 of our past 28 games. Pathetic.
