Davis gets thrown out at second. I need another look because he might have been safe.

This was a depressing series. Duke's the hard-luck loser as I expected. So sad...

A 1.87 ERA is just amazing!! You can send Street to the Giants any day. Randy Winn is waiting for you.

no...I don't think we're looking for old crappy veterans...that and the A's / Giants will never make a trade lol

17-for-22 in save opps? I think you're better off with Wilson as your closer...but either way feel free to take him.

Oh Street would go to the setup man over guys like Tyler Walker. Wilson would still be our man. Giants need to get back to the days of 2002 when they had a dominant bullpen. Guys like Street and Valdez setting up Wilson would be like the good old days.

    Prov,
Winn is ten times better than Emil Brown and a better overall player than Jack Cust. He would definitely be a much needed upgrade in the OF but yes, the A's could do better for Street.

Brown isn't in the long-term plans...and neither would be Winn

Yeah I realized that he wouldn't be closing after I posted that. Whoops.

And we've got a great young outfield as it is (Sweeney, Gonzalez, Davis, and yes, even Cust). I don't think Beane wants a guy like Winn.

Of course Winn wouldn't be. He only has one more year left on his contract. He would still be an upgrade over what is there now and next year.

we're not looking for that...we're building towards 2010 and beyond. If Street gets traded, it will be for specs/youth. Not old guys.

Street is still young and was once a dominant closer, why would you give up on him after 1 mediocore year?
