Well clearly, someone's told Beane that his college-only strategy sucks goats and it does not work. Also that might be the case with his stats-only method of evaluating his talent.

By the way, he probably should have kept Bonderman. Beane sent him away with Carlos Pena to Detroit just because he's a high-schooler so that he could get Ted Lilly in return? That move worked out pretty well.

Also, I'm following this thread, and you're hilarious, Providence A's. Beane is loading up on shortstops and right-handed pitchers, with a bunch of guys from high-school.

Jared Lansford is Carney's son and apparently plays 2B as well...Carney said he only wanted his son to get drafted as a 2B and if not wants him to go to college where he can play both.

ABG, the guys we drafted are for the low levels right now. We've got some 1Bs, Catchers, and OFs at AAA, AA, and even A right now...I listed a few of them in the minor league news thread
