    4 - 2 A's in the 3rd inning. The Rangers have bases loaded with 2 outs...Brown hit a 3-run homer.

4 - 4...Harden is giving up a lot of hits and walks. 3.1 innings so far with 7 hits, 3 walks, and 5 k's...already at 80 pitches

Last time I checked it was 9-6 A's. Harden only lasted 3.2 innings and allowed 5 runs while Ponson didn't do much better working 5.1 innings and allowing 6 runs.

    A's won 12 - 6...Barton also went deep.

I swear we either score twenty runs or don't get any at all. This is getting annoying. But we won, and that's all that counts. And we're in first all by ourselves now! I know it's too early to predict anything, but I'm going to relish this for as long as it lasts.

On the injury front...Denorfia was placed on the DL with lower back stiffness. Doesn't seem to be out for too long.

Denofrio hasn't been much of an offensive factor for the club anyway. Sweeney has seemed to be taking over CF.
