Giants A's / Giants Bay Bridge Exhibition Series

Friday @ SF, Saturday @ OAK, and Sunday @ SF.

I can't find the starters at the moment, but it should be our 3-4-5 starters with Blanton and Harden going Tuesday and Wednesday against the Sox again.

That series no matter in Spring Trainig=ng or inter-league play is always a rivalry. Should be a good one.

I always found it weird playing regular season games and then coming back and playing additional Spring Training games.

that's what happens when they make teams play out of the country...it is weird, but whatever. Hopefully, it won't mess anything up with their routines and such.

Giants won the 1st game and the A's won the 2nd game...time for the rubber match.

Ought to be a very interesting game. Both teams are rebuilding. Who are the pitchers in todays match-up?

The Giants are rebuilding? I thought the majority of them were retiring to a senior citizen community.

True they do still have quite the old crew, but they have to start somewhere. With players like Daniel Ortmeier, Matt Cain, Tim Lincecum, Kevin Correia, Brian Wilson and Brad Hennessey they just may be headed down that path.

    A's won 7 - 2 to take the series 2 to 1

Crosby hit a solo homer and Mike Sweeney hit a 3-run homer. Eveland went 6 solid innings.

Re: A's / Giants Bay Bridge Exhibition Series

I tried to log on to this forum yesterday and couldn't get on. Weird...?

Anyways I watched almost the whole game yesterday and Duke looked REAL sharp which was nice to see including setting down at least 10 in a row and it may have been more.

Today the Giants announcers sure sounded like Dan Johnson will be a Giant. They noted his spring average but made it a point several times that he has three HRs in the spring.

The Giants are in big trouble.
