Shit talker huh... Did you win the game? NO. I just stated that Santana would give up less than two runs! He gave up ZERO. God when your team is hot you're happy as hell, when they stink you cry like a little baby. I did not bash your team in any way, and I get that comment. Yes, Santana pitched great, but you still almost lost the game thanks to your bullpen. The Twins won't go far playing like that. Santana can't pitched every inning of every game.

Riiiight...loved the discusson you had going guys and hate to interrupt, but it's time to move foward...

It's going to be Blanton (8-5, 3.28 ERA) vs Silva (6-10, 4.58 ERA). Blanton has been one of the guys who you could throw out there and save the bullpen. This guy has a league-leading 3 CGs. His last outing wasn't so hot...*cough cough*. On the flip side, neither was Silva's. He pitched pretty well except for a 5-run third inning, and lasted only 5 innings, getting taged with the loss. I'm taking Blanton and the A's in game 3. Throughout the first half he's been very reliable, but unfortuneately gets very little run support. Hopefully the A's can muster up some offense and get a much-needed win tonite.

GAH! The Twins outplayed and outthought the A's in this series. The A's weren't able to get those clutch hits and our bullpen has really been rocky since the break. I tip my hat to you guys. You never go down without a fight. Good series.

The A's need to get their act together. Things are not looking good right now. Losing 7 straight and losing more ground on the Angels. I don't want to say this season is a wash but it's starting to look like it. I hate how bad this offense is. It's been the same story for like 3 seasons now and I'm tired of it.

If and when Piazza comes back, do y'all think he'll be able to turn this season around a bit? Hopefully *crosses fingers* he'll be able to come back and spark this offense, but I'm not sure that's how it will play out...
