Ok quick injury update. Street will hopefully be back 2 weeks after the break, the Duke's season is over, Calero and Loaiza are pitching without any pain, Robertson started throwing after fracturing his thumb, Kielty is still rehabbing at Sacramento, and Harden as y'all know is tentatively scheduled to start on Saturday.

Street and Harden are the keys to the A's getting back into this race. Although the fill in in the rotation have been good and Embree hasn't been bad those two guys are really needed.

I'm hoping that all goes well when Harden pitches. I don't care if he lasts 3 innings, I just want to know that he's pitching without any pain. Plus Blanton is pitching afte him, and that guy just eats up innings.

He will need to eat up the innings, cuz the pen will get alot of work in the Harden game.

He leads the league with 3 CGs. He's pitched about 130 innings so far...I don't know where that stands in terms of the leader board, but it seems like a lot to me.

not necessarily...the plan is for him to go 5 with DiNardo going after that. DiNardo had a short outing so he's rested. They could have started DiNardo and had Harden relieve, but what's the difference? They're both going to get work.

I really hope Harden can make it threw 5 and most importantly w/o pain.

A's won 3 - 2...Gaudin went 7 2/3 giving up 2 earned. Casilla got the hold and Embree got the save. Swisher and Crosbert both homered.

A's gain a huge game on Seattle and are off to a good start in the series. The only problem is it seems everytime the A's win the Halos win.

    A's are losing 7 - 1...Haren went 6 1/3 giving up 4 runs (3 earned). The A's have made 5 errors...Scutaro made 4 of them at 3rd base

Ok so today is going to be the day that Harden comes back to the rotation. He'll be facing the King, so this could be a tough game for the A's, especially if their bullpen has to do a lot of work. But I'm hoping for a win, after yesterday's terrible game. The A's were so good defensively. What happened?

Hopefully, the A's can end the 1st half with a win and get a split in this series. Blanton vs. Firebird...

Kielty comes up with the bases loaded and grounds into a 1-2-3 double play. Welcome back Bobby. Woah, Ellis just bailed out Blanton. Joe just missed a comebacker and Ellis dug it out and got the out. Blanton owes Ellis big time on that one.

Kielty is a bum...way to kill a rally, huh? 3 - 2 going into the bottom of the 6th.
