Frasor is in, A's still have a chance to win.

Marco Scutaro is hit by a pitch on his hand...if he gets hurt and placed on the DL then the A's are really in hot water.

It's now 10-6. Kotsay had a sac fly and Swish had an RBI double to score the two runs. Ron Flores is still pitching in the 8th. Hopefully he'll shut the door now.

11-7 was the final of last nights contest. Win for the Jays. As for tonights game Litsch vs Blanton. I have to go with the more experienced Blanton and the A's to take this one.

Ok Blanton vs Litsch. I'm taking Blanton. He's pitched very well this year but has always been on the short end of the game. Hopefully the A's will be able to score some runs and he'll be able to shut down that Toronto offense.

Blanton should have the advantage, but Litsch could put in a good performance as well. It should be a good game. My prediction is the A's win 5-3.

Tonite is also fireworks nite and the Coliseum, so a win would make the pyro-spectacular show much better. I say A's win all the way. Hopefully we get some info on whether Scutaro is ok after being HBP last nite...

3 - 1 A's with Blanton going out there for the CG win

A's win 3 - 1. Blanton gets his 8th win. Cust hit a solo homer for an insurance run.

Let's see, that's 3 CG for Blanton. He leads the league in that catagory. This was a great win for the A's. Hopefully they can keep this going with Kennedy tomorrow on Independance Day. I have to say that I feel sorry for Litsch though. Those 2 runs were unearned and he came out a hard-luck loser. Oh well. Atleast the A's walk away winners.

    And the Angels lost.

Todays match-up have McGowen vs Kennedy. I think I have to go with the Bluejays here in this one.

Nice job by Fat Joe and Jack!!

We should see Cust jerseys or t-shirts in Oakland pretty soon.

Ok so the month of June wasn't particularly nice to Kennedy...he was 1-2 with a bunch of ND. It's a new month, and I have faith in a guy like Kennedy. I'm taking the A's (again). Plus it's a special day and it would be uber cool if they won today.
