    Yeah, Sabathia and Lackey. Sabathia would be my second choice if something happened to not make Haren the starter. Sabathia is a Bay Area native, so I think it would be really cool if he started, but not as cool as if Haren started.

    I think C.C. has the inside track on starting the game if his starting schedule works in sync with the All Star game.

    you're forgetting Josh Bucket...CC has 12, the other 2 have 11, and Haren has 10.

    All are deserving, C.C., Beckett, Haren, and Lackey. I still would go with C.C. right now, but they all should have at least one more start before there would be consideration for starter in the All Star game.

    Ok the A's only player in the All Star game is Haren of course. IMO, he should be the starter. He's been so good for so long. A sub-2.00 ERA for half the season deserves the nod.
