    8 - 2 A's after 2...Hopefully, Haren will settle down with a big lead.

8 - 4 A's going into the 5th. The Yanks just left the bases loaded.

Ok so it's the bottom of the 6th inning, one out and Haren leaves the game after allowing a season high 4 runs. But I'm not worried, especially since we have an 8-4 lead.

Well, there are runners on 1st and 2nd that he's responsible for...hopefully, the bullpen can get out of this inning. I don't have a lot of faith in Braden though...

Neither do I. He's not the kind of guy who can shut the door. Castilla is warming up in the bullpen though. He's a guy that I have faith in.

Jeter singles, scoring Phillips. 8-5 A's. Please take Braden out!

8 - 5 after 6...Haren gives up 5 earned in 5 1/3 innings...still in line for the win though. His ERA is 2.20 now.

2.20-that's not the lead anymore, is it? Nope, not anymore. Still in the top 10 though, and still a good All-Star candidate.

Braden was able to stike out Cano to end the inning. He allowed one run. Now it's the 7th, and hopefully the A's will be able to tack on a few more runs.

He leads the AL...he should still start the ASG. He'll have double digit wins and his ERA is a lot better than the other double digit winners in the AL.

That run wasn't Braden's run though. And if it were a slower runner on Damon's ground ball, it would have been an inning ending double play.

    9 - 5 A's after 7. Casilla pitched a strong 7th with 1 strike out.

Haren without a doubt is the best pitcher in the league in terms of stuff. The other guys may have a lot of wins, but they get it via run support, while Haren gets the win on his on, per se. In the meantime, A'S WIN! The Angels won their game too, so the A's are still 8.5 games back, while the M's are scorless with the Jays in the 5th inning. To get a win on getaway day is just great. Swish said that he couldn't be happier. He said he's starting to break out of his slump too. Up next, the Toronto Blue Jays...
