    Swisher just hit a 3-run homer in the 9th to give the A's a 5 - 2 lead.

    he's got today off after we lost in extra innings last night.

    5 - 3 A's going into the bottom of the 8th. Cust hit his 1st homer as an Athletic. Melhuse has a 2-run single.

    Melhuse should play more IMO; A LOT more. I know Jason handles the staff and all that but at least when Adam is up I know he can drive the ball and hit it fairly well most of the time instead of groundballs to infielders.
