5 - 1 A's in the bottom of the 8th...things are looking good so far tonight.
and of course Embree comes in and gives up a 3-run homer...starters have the best ERA, but the bullpen is dragging 'em down...5 - 4 A's in the bottom of the 8th.
Just a word of advice, Alan Embree is GOD AWFUL

well, somehow the A's held on 6 - 5...I'll take it, but this bullpen needs to get its act together.
Right now I'll take the wins any way we can get them as banged up as we are.

After crushing two homers last night, Swisher strains his left hamstring in today's game. Seems like the A's are dropping like flies.

having our ENTIRE original starting outfield on the DL looks like a real possibility right now with Kotsay, Bradley, and now Swisher

Welp let's hope we can just hang around until we start getting people back although this injury will be tough to overcome IMO.
