Thanks for doing the gameday/series threads Prov. I'll PM you on how to get the logos in there.
Angels suck. Go A's!!! IMO this is the best rivalry going west of the Mississippi River that nobody talks about.
Seriously Kielty is a circus in the outfield.
game isnt televised, but last i checked it was 3-3 top 8
Gaudin seems like he was pretty impressive
Piazza hits a go ahead homer
A's win it 4-3
not many things better than beating the Angels
A's got lucky.
"For someone who was never meant for this world, I must confess I'm suddenly having a hard time leaving it. Of course, they say every atom in our bodies was once part of a star. Maybe I'm not leaving... maybe I'm going home."
yea...lucky OK Rex Hudler
I was out last night, but saw the highlights this morning
Yeah it was total luck running from 1st to 3rd on Vlad's arm twice last night and Piazza rocking K-Rod. Pure luck.
A's are losing 2 - 1 after 6 so far tonight.
A's lost 5 - 2...guess the Angels "got lucky" last night. Bradley was out of the lineup with soreness in his right side. Kendall was given the night off. Kennedy didn't pitch badly giving up 2 runs (1 earned).
Once again we had guys on against K-Rod but I didn't feel it with Kielty this time. Oh well top of the rotation again so let's go fellas.
Welp we had runners all over the place yet it's the same old chiat different season. Our starters have been great with little to show for it.
Lackey can eat a dik. Between drilling Swisher (gee big surprise) and his antics on the mound the guy really is an a-hole.
I only saw part of the game...what was Swisher's reaction? It's nice to see our offense is sputtering already...
Swish stared him down pretty good; he was pissed. Lackey hit him almost in the middle of the back and this was right after Chavez had raked a double to right-center. The guy didn't come close to anybody else all night and had great control. It was funny Kendall popped right up off the bench; he didn't say anything but he had the look. Lackey is gonna get someone like Vlad or Garrett drilled and I'm sure they won't appreciate that.
I can deal with what's happening this early and I must say Piazza has surprised me not only with his hitting but with his attitude. He shows some emotion and gets pretty pumped. Bradley was back in there and Crosby should play today ( he better because his act is getting old). Scutaro had several chances to do some damage last night and didn't get it done. After tomorrow we have a brief two-game series with Anaheim and then we don't see them until July. I wish Harden was going today.
