Those are decent matchups. I need to go look at who the Angels and Rangers start the season against.

    Go A's!!!

Yeah the Rangers are at the Angels playing at 10:05pm EST. I have nothing against the rest of the AL West but I would like to see the Angels win the division.

Welp here we go. Haren was cruising when Crosby made a horrible error on a double play ball. Four runs later Haren tweeks something falling off the mound. Felix looks strong and Kendall still can't hit WRISP.

    I hope Haren is ok.

im still hoping to hear some good news on haren

crosby really dropped the ball today, literally. 2 errors i believe.

felix was dealing, nothing you can do about that

lets just hope blanton can out-duel washburn tommorow

im looking for kielty, piazza, and bradley to have a field day againt the lefty

that was embarrassing last night. thankfully it wasn't the home opener. I'm glad I didn't watch all of it. and Crosby really needs to step up this year because if he's healthy and stinks up the joint, then I will be seriously disappointed in the SS situation.

Hey we just scored our first run of the year!! 1-0 A's after Crosby got a base hit on a hit-and-run play moving Kielty to 3rd. Ellis hit a sac fly.

Crosby got picked off at 1st with Kendall at the plate.

Ellis ties it up at 4, Kiko blows it and the offense dissapears...

    0-2

hopefully harden can deal some nasty stuff tommorow and avoid the sweep

It sure doesn't look like we'll be going 17 - 2 against them this year...

At least the bats came alive a little bit last night and they fought back only to have Kiko get rocked by some dude I've never heard of. Our starters are actually pitching well and going deep into the game so that's also a positive. Fatso got screwed on some calls and Kielty's circus in RF didn't help.

    Come on Rich!!!

Also Milton Bradley looks a little heavier and healthier this year. That HR he hit was a no-doubter. We need Stewart and Piazza to get it going because as usual Chavez looks completely lost and uninspired at the plate and Crosby is still catching up. Not worried about Swisher or Ellis yet but like I said we need to get it going. IMO we have a decent lineup.

    bradley's shot was nice

Ellis came thru big yesterday night

i dont really expect Chavez to turn it on until mid-May (like usual)

pithing has been there, hitting is getting there, defense has been horrid
