    A's 2007 Regular Season Thread

This thread will be for random rumblings, less important news, and game related stuff. I'll probably still make series threads like last season.

Loiaza is worse than originally thought and will miss a minimum of two starts.

Bradley has soreness in his right side...they're hoping he doesn't have a strained oblique muscle

Crosby was out of last night's lineup due to back spasms...I guess he left early the night before...honestly, just end it now

i feel for the starting pitching

they have been dealing, and this offense has dragged us down to a 3-5 record

kiko calero hasnt helped much either

The A's had their 1st day off yesterday...I'm sure it had more to do with allowing the Yankees a travel day, but still

Harden had an MRI on Monday and it came back with "nothing major"...looks like he may have his next start push back a day or two, but he should be OK

AA OF Danny Putnam and AAA SP Dallas Braden were called up...

This team has shitty luck with injuries lately.

I'll be going to the A's game Wednesday in Boston...looks like it'll be Beckett vs. Kennedy

    You got Chris Denorfia

For two PTBNLs and cash from the Reds.

First off, just wanted to tell you that Deno is an awesome take for Billy Beane. The guy can hit, run, and field any outfield position. He is a great 4th outfielder and would likely start for many teams as well. A lot of people have compared him to Brady Clark. In that he has all the necessary tools to be a really good player and plays better than expected all the time.

Second of all, what do you guys think Billy would give up for someone like Denorfia? Is there anyone on the team who has lost favor in Beane's eyes?

yea, I know...he'll be in the mix for next season as Stewart and Bradley are both free agents. I don't know what he'd give up...I'm sure a pitcher will be in there, but regardless I can't imagine it being a whole lot.
