I agree. He can play a bit in the field and has some pop in his bat. He is a decent hitter for average when he isn't trying to hit home runs.

I would guess that he'll start at AAA. He was signed to a minor league deal.

Durazo was released after tonight's game. Murphy was sent to AAA and Suzuki was sent to the minor league camp. The final roster moves will be made tomorrow. We're 5 players over the 25 player limit.

That doesn't make sense to me.

He's not good enough to even make the major league roster to start the season, but once they're in a run for the playoffs and the games are more important he is?

He's not that good of a fielder is he? Always been a pretty decent hitter with good power though. If he gets to the big league team he should be a good guy to have coming off the bench. Maybe spot start at DH once in a while.

they had him at 1B yesterday against the Giants. He didn't get charged any errors, but had difficulty with two throws that were errors. One tipped off his glove and he couldn't scoop the other one.

for whatever reason it seemed that Durazo fell out of favor. Swisher may be back at 1st with Walker being the backup. I don't know...Walker better not be the starting 1B.
