Ledee ties it up with a two-out rocket off the centerfield wall. 2-2 (that ball was hammered).

Blanton looks like chiat and it's 1st and 2nd with no outs.

Check that: strike 'em-out throw 'em-out double play.

Joe gave up an RBI single to make it 3-2 and then picked the guy off at first.

    Spring Training.

Holy crap. The A's were down 3-2 when I went outside and when I came back it was 5-3 A's. Ellis and Johnson then went back-to-back to make it 7-3 so the possibility exists for back-to-back-to-back.

Fatso gives up another two-run double and it's 7-5 A's.

Another run-scoring double and it's 7-6 A's in the bottom of the 3rd.

I'm not concerned with results...just his health. He's a stud...it's well known. He just needs to stay healthy.

Yeah that was the final and the A's did go back-to-back-to-back (Swisher, Ellis and Dan Johnson). Johnson's HR was a nice opposite field shot and I'm pretty sure it's the first time I've seen him do that. Crosby played at short last night although I don't remember him batting. Embree, Calero and Street all looked sharp.

It was Crosby's first game. He went 1 - 3 with a double and a run scored. I'm just glad he finally got in there. Hopefully, he'll be in there this season instead of the training room.

Crosby and Dan Johnson's news is definately good stuff

i think DJ got it pretty rough after that slump last year

if he can get his confidence back at the plate, i think he'll be fine

as for crosby, i've got my fingers crossed

They're both important parts of the team for this year (and beyond if they meet expectations/their talent)...I'm hoping that they're both healthy and step up this year because we're going to need them.

Geren (i.e. Beane) is making final cuts later today. It appears Goleski is going to have to be offered back to the Indians unless a trade is worked out because it doesn't look like he'll make the team. He's hit .146 this spring. Durazo has cooled after starting hot, but he's still over .300. Johnson has come on as of late though. It'll be interesting to see who gets cut.
