I gotta go there one day. It's a beautiful ballpark.

I'll probably get over there if a customer offers me some tix or soemthing.

Not surprising at all. When was the last time he won? 8 months ago?

    Billy Beane

    Tim Hudson's doing great though.

Seriously, Zito had one bad start and it wouldn't mattered how well he pitched because we've scored a total of 3 runs in his 3 starts! 1 run per game basically, so he has to throw shutouts to win

    0 runs against Baltimore
2 runs against Tampa Bay (only 1 of those runs while he was in the game)
1 run against LAA last night

I was happy with his performance last night; in fact I'll take that every night...just leave out the falling behind so many guys...that usually comes back to bite you in the bum

Gosh that is too much pressure to put on a pitcher. The offensive support has got to get better. It cost Harden a win today. Luckily it didn't cost us the game.

    Bobby Update

    Get well soon Bobby

Progress for Crosby: It doesn't sound like much of a big deal, but shortstop Bobby Crosby had a promising sneeze Sunday morning.

It was promising because it was painless, and because it was painless, Crosby moved a step closer to returning from the 15-day disabled list.

"It's a small positive, but it's a positive," Crosby said.

Athletics trainer Larry Davis said Crosby, who is out with fractured ribs, will stay in the Bay Area while the A's play in Texas and Seattle this week. If his condition continues to improve, Crosby will join the club Friday in Anaheim to work on low-impact rotational exercises.

The step after that will be more strenuous work on the rotational machine that the A's bought for their weight room last season in the wake of a rash of oblique strains, but Davis, as is his custom, refused to put a timeline on anything.

"This kind of injury usually takes three to six weeks to heal, and everyone heals at their own pace," he said.

Crosby, placed on the DL retroactive to April 5, has been out less than two weeks.

That and we hit the ball yesterday; well, everybody but Chavez and Durazo. But I do think those two guys will come alive on this road trip.

I love Dotel for these quotes:

In two of three games, the A's beat the team that seems to be everyone's pick to win the American League West.

"I hope everyone's wrong about that," Octavio Dotel said.

The A's closer was asked if he agrees the Angels should be considered the division's No. 1 team, and he responded, "In payroll, yeah, they are."

    Ouch.

    Macha is an idiot!

"I think he's pressing a little bit," Macha said.
referring to Brynes and using it as a reason to hit Thomas...Thomas has yet to even get a hit this year!!! Neither has Kielty, but they both keep playing

Why don't they just trade Byrnes already? This isn't fair to him at all.
